We performed with the Rubberbandits at Electric Picnic. I can confirm the urban myths… We have never seen the Rubberbandits without their plastic bags, but we did notice they wore a different sort of bag for rehearsals. We were not allowed talk to them directly, only via their staff and we had to hide under a rug while they entered the building so we didn’t know which direction they came from. Splinter group “the pony boys” made an appearance at the Gala Night for the first Derry Pride! People fainted in the audience- fact! But we knew that was going to happen. They were arrested for stealing the show
