The much anticipated trip to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival was a near FIASCO!

Here is our beloved Paula (star of the show - every show) on a drip in the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh.  She threw up at 2am the night before the "Heads Up" showcase in Dance Base and didn't stop for another 24 hours!  A severe case of food poisoning apparently and we have no idea where she got it.  The poor lamb... when she should have been warming up, she was sitting in a hospital corridor waiting to get a drip put in her arm. 

We "winged" the showcase without her and "triumphed in adversity" according to our lovely producer, Richard Wakely.  Thanks to Dance Base and Artistic Director, Morag Deyes for being so supportive and a huge thank you to Richard, who was a rock of sense.   Paula recovered, but it took quite a few days.
